Donald R. Wehrs is the Hargis Professor of English Literature at Auburn University. He received his PhD from the University of Virginia. Dr. Wehrs specializes in novel genre and history, eighteenth-century studies, postcolonial studies, and comparative literature and has published articles in MLN, SEL and ELH. He is currently working on the relationship between ethics, cognitive science, and literary history.
