Christopher Lonegan

Born in Brooklyn, New York Christopher Lonegan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Christopher completed his M.F.A. in Painting at the Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Theory and Criticism from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. Christopher now lives in Maryland and teaches at Loyola University.

Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where he studied painting. His dissertation, which focused on the intersection of aesthetics, ethics, and metaphysics in the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein, was recently accepted for publication by Atropos Press. He is originally from Northern Wisconsin, but currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
