IDSVA announces the 2022 Commencement Speakers: Carmen Boullosa and Mel Edwards

This year’s featured Commencement Speakers are famed Mexican poet, Carmen Boullosa, and contemporary American sculptor, Mel Edwards. Boullosa's talk will touch on the life of the Mexican poet, while Edwards will discuss the concept and design for the new David Driskell Memorial at the University of Maryland’s David C. Driskell Center for the Study of the Visual Arts and Culture of African Americans and the African Diaspora at the University of Maryland, College Park.
