IDSVA makes a strong showing at the 109th Annual College Art Association (CAA) conference The virtual conference (including Q&A sessions) will take place February 10-13, 2021.
This year's (virtual) winter residency featured a series of three lectures throughout the week. As with every IDSVA lecture, students were asked to "formulate the question" in advance of Q&A. With each Q&A session, the lecturer and the students "took a seat at the table" and continued the ongoing construction of the history of ideas.
IDSVA is pleased to announce the new lecture series: ON THE ANTHROPOCENE: Either/Or. The three part lecture series will be held in February, March, and April.
The award was given to Metzger for her presentation, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner: Life, Love, and Racism in America." Metzger presented the work alongside her husband at the 2020 SECAC Conference on the panel All in the Family: On Raising Kids Together as Artists in Academia.
