Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Matthew Fields is an emerging African American laborer, Artist and Arts Educator.

Tory Schendel-Vyvoda is the curator of the Evansville African American Museum and director of the Lamasco Microgallery. She earned her bachelor's from Indiana University and master's from Johns Hopkins University.
They will present at the “Critique of Resistance" symposium, November 30 - December 1, 2023.

IDSVA Director Simonetta Moro will participate in a tribute to Italian philosopher Gianni Vattimo (1936-2023) and present her recent publication The Vattimo Dictionary.
Rikiesha Metzger, cohort ’19 explores innovative approaches to sharing Black culture through the arts. Built upon a solid spiritual foundation and community involvement, her goal is to teach various forms of self-expression and introspection through the practice of art making.
