Visiting Faculty

VISITING FACULTY are internationally recognized scholars appointed to conduct residency orientations, teach special seminars, give lecture series, or hold symposia on special topics.  Visiting Faculty hold limited appointments for the duration of their assignment and general do not serve on academic committees.

Sylvère Lotringer


Sylvère Lotringer is Professor Emeritus of French literature and philosophy at Columbia University and Professor of Foreign Philosophy at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland.  Known for his work as general editor of Semiotext(e) and Foreign Agents, Professor Lotringer is a literary critic and cultural theorist.
