IDSVA is pleased to announce the publication of the 2020 Spring Newsletter. In this issue you will find a series of testimonies dedicated to the memory of Dr. David C. Driskell, along with recollections of our first winter residency in Mexico City, and achievements of our students and alumni.
Dr. Jason Hoelscher (IDSVA PhD 2019) has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure, Department of Interdisciplinary Art, Georgia Southern University. Professor Hoelscher's forthcoming book, Art as Information Ecology: Artworks, Artworlds, and Complex Systems Aesthetics, is due from Duke University Press in Spring 2021.
Dr. EL Putnam was appointed Lecturer in Digital Media at the National University Ireland, Galway in January 2019 and is currently Programme Director of the MA in Digital Media
