IDSVA is proud to announce its 2022-23 Honorary Doctorate Recipients
The 2023 Honorary Degree Recipients, Indigenous American Chef and Author Nephi Craig; Mexican Author, Historian, and Editor Margarita de Orellana; and Mexican Author and Editor Alberto Ruy-Sánchez will speak at the annual IDSVA Commencement Ceremony at the National Museum of Art (MUNAL) in Mexico City on January 14, 2023.

Carolyn Jean Martin is an educator and artist. She earned an M.F.A. in painting and an M.A. in the History and Theory of Contemporary Art from San Francisco Art Institute.
NYC January Residency & Commencement Postponed
The Omicron variant has been spreading exponentially over the past several days. Travel and social interaction are once again posing serious risk of infection. In light of that, we will reschedule the upcoming January residency and Commencement in NYC to April, conditions permitting.
