New IDSVA Librarian, Erin Perfect

We are very pleased to announce Erin Perfect as IDSVA's new librarian. Erin will succeed Laura Graveline, who founded IDSVA's virtual library and established IDSVA's partnership with the Maine State Library. We are ever grateful to Laura for leaving us with a world-class virtual library, and we look forward to welcoming Erin into our community in the fall!

Erin holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and a MILS from San Jose State University. In addition to her work in photography, illustration, and design, she has served as a studio assistant and has completed projects for VS+Company, Condé Nast, Newsweek, and Guernica Magazine.

More recently, Erin has completed projects within special collection libraries at the Fleet Library at RISD and the Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden. She currently facilitates independent educational programs and reading groups and serves as Project Archivist for the Pembroke Center at Brown University.

Welcome, Erin!
