Yesterday 

is gone all in a daze. 

El viento y calles 

lead us to el templo del sol. 

.. 

Y la revolución Mexicana 

with traditional songs! 

Beautiful tortillas made of colored corn; .. 

and the blue houses, 

and murals of Siqueiros. 

Diego loves Frida, 

you can see it in her gardens. 

.. 

A part of me remains here. 

And some of her 

I’ll take 

in poetry books and pictures and when they say Mexico lindo—

I really mean it.
