IDSVA Artist-Philosophers Gather at SECAC 2026

IDSVA students and alumni joined artists, scholars, and educators at SECAC 2026 for several days of presentations, intellectual exchange, and community connection.
Through panel discussions and individual presentations, IDSVA participants brought their research and perspectives into dialogue with broader conversations in contemporary art, aesthetics, and philosophy.
This breadth of ideas reflected the interdisciplinary thinking at the heart of IDSVA's PhD program in Visual Arts: Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory.
Beyond the formal sessions, the conference offered opportunities to reconnect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the relationships that make IDSVA's international intellectual community so distinctive.
